Guiding you on the path of towards healing & empowerment

Thinking of taking the step towards healing?

Want to become more attuned to your inner voice?

Are you wanting to practice more self-love and build a better relationship with yourself?

You're in the right place!

If you have found yourself here, you are more than likely undergoing a difficult period in your life and looking for some support.

This is a brave step.

Entering into therapy can feel like a daunting experience with so many what if's and worries but this is perfectly normal.

How to know if therapy is right for you?

Therapy can provide you with a warm, compassionate and confidential space to talk in the aim of finding comforting resolution for your current problems.

Learning to listen and explore your own thoughts and feelings away from the judgement of others is often what brings people to the therapy room.

People often turn to therapy because they're feeling isolated, unsupported or have experienced a life changing event which needs professional intervention.

If you're ready to take the path to becoming more attuned to yourself, your inner voice and cultivating more self love, then allow me to introduce myself.

So who am I?

My name is Rachael and I am a psychotherapist in the Basildon, Essex area.

My belief as a therapist:

Therapy is about coming home to ourselves; who we were born to be!

I knew I wanted to get into a career path that would make a difference in people’s lives from a young age.

From working within the mental health field for some time, I eventually went on to start my career in therapy, where I completed a BA in Humanistic Counselling & Psychotherapy.

I am passionate about creating positive change and providing space for my clients to find their voice amongst the world but more importantly, within themselves.

My role is not to give you advice or tell you what to do, but to listen with perspective and empathy, whilst you find the solutions you hold within.

Humanistic in my modality, I am trauma-informed and work with a wide range of presenting issues from low self-esteem, Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, Self-harm, Bereavement/Loss, Domestic Violence, Body-Image and relationship difficulties.

Embodying a range of various experience from children, young people and adults within my work has allowed me to become adaptable amongst diverse groups.

I am fully insured and a registered member of The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP)
